Aaliyah Edwards remains one of Connecticut's central frontcourt pieces after starting and playing 29.7 minutes in Friday's 111–91 loss at Indiana. She finished with 12 points, five rebounds and two assists, staying involved until the deficit reached 16 midway through the fourth quarter. Brittney Griner remains out, while Olivia Nelson-Ododa has improved to questionable after missing three straight games. Edwards can play alongside Nelson-Ododa if she returns, so her starting role remains secure. Another Nelson-Ododa absence would give Edwards a clearer path to additional center minutes against Dallas.
