Charlisse Leger-Walker remains Connecticut's lead guard after starting and playing 24.4 minutes in Friday's loss to Indiana. She finished with eight points, four rebounds and five assists, but committed seven turnovers before leaving with the Sun down 16 midway through the fourth quarter. The shorter workload reflected the lopsided second half rather than a reported role change. With Kennedy Burke and Leila Lacan still away on national-team duty, Leger-Walker and Saniya Rivers remain the primary creators. A competitive game against Dallas should return Leger-Walker to roughly 30 minutes, with ordinary gameflow driving most of the downside.
