Brittney Griner will remain out Friday against Indiana because of the knee injury that also kept her out Tuesday and Wednesday. Her latest appearance remains an 18.9-minute outing on August 13, and Connecticut has not provided a clearance or a firm return timetable. With another absence confirmed, the Sun will continue leaning on Aaliyah Edwards and their younger frontcourt options. Griner has no expected role against the Fever and will need a new team update before she can re-enter the rotation.
