Updated Aug 30, 12:51 AM CDTMalonga takes on more of Seattle's interior workload
Dominique Malonga enters Sunday as Seattle's central frontcourt option after Awa Fam's contract suspension removed a regular reserve from the rotation. Malonga started, closed and played 29.5 competitive minutes in Wednesday's 90–78 win over Toronto, contributing 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block. Fam played 16.8 minutes that night, leaving work to redistribute against Los Angeles. Malonga has the clearest path to the largest share, though Ezi Magbegor and Katie Lou Samuelson remain alternatives if foul trouble or the matchup changes Seattle's frontcourt mix.
