Updated Aug 30, 12:23 AM CDTLaeticia Amihere has a fresh path to rotation minutes
Laeticia Amihere is back in the rotation conversation after Golden State lost three forwards and wings to World Cup duty. Her recent role has been highly volatile: she played only the final 1.7 minutes against New York, but logged 17.8 minutes at Connecticut and 23.9 against Indiana earlier in the week. With Gabby Williams, Cecilia Zandalasini and Janelle Salaün unavailable, Amihere's size and defensive flexibility should earn her a real opportunity in Portland. A larger veteran-heavy lineup could still limit her, so the promotion is meaningful without being completely secure.
