Sug Sutton remains a reserve guard for Dallas, but her playing time is difficult to trust. She logged 5.9 minutes against Portland, with part of that appearance coming after the outcome was secure, and her recent workloads range from a DNP to 17.8 minutes. Aziaha James's return adds another option to a backcourt already led by Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale. Sutton can still supply a short ballhandling stint, but she is now closer to the edge of the rotation than to a dependable double-digit role.
